For the past 5 years, Grill House has provided our customers with authentic homemade melas with a wide range of grilled foods and salad options.

Q&A With Nick Drivas

What excites you most about the industry?

The restaurant industry has become more quality driven. That’s exciting to me. Consumers are more aware now than ever before about the food they eat, and they definitely appreciate healthy and fresh options.

What do you want people to know about Grill House?

We take great pride in our restaurant and the food we serve. From a single lunch or dinner order to a catered event, our goal remains the same. We want our customers to have a great experience every single time. We are extremely thankful to the community for their support. From the very beginning, we’ve worked hard to gain their loyalty, and we don’t take it for granted.

What’s your favorite TV show?

I really enjoy Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

How did you get started in the restaurant business?

I grew up in the family business, watching my dad run his restaurant. From the time I was in high school at
Glenbrook North, I started working with my father doing everything from bussing tables, washing dishes, and cleaning the restaurant to handling the cash register and ordering supplies. I was fortunate to gain experience from the ground up and gain a deep understanding of what makes a restaurant successful. Everything I learned went into the creation of Grill House from the design of the restaurant to our menu offerings.

What do you see in the future for Grill House?

We’ve recently expanded our catering options and family meals, and I expect to keep doing so. I’d like to add more automation and expanding our on-line service for our customers, and possibly, expand the size of our restaurant at some point down the road.
