In addition to serving up some of the best food on Chicago’s North Shore (thank you to those who have consistently given Grill House top star ratings!), owner Nick Drivas believes in giving back to the community that has been so kind and supportive of him and his restaurant.

Nick, who grew up in Northbrook and still lives with his family in Northbrook, has seen the community grow and believes in the importance of giving back. In the past several years, Grill House has hosted fundraising events for such organizations as Autism Speaks, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Bernie’s Book Bank, and Youth Services of Glenview and Northbrook. He has also given back to dozens of local schools, religious organizations, and first responders by creating special fundraisers just for them.

Since opening its doors in 2017, Grill House has donated more than $30,000 to help with equipment for schools, fundraising for education and services to those in need. During this pandemic he and his team have donated food to schools, hospitals, fire stations, police stations and those less fortunate within Northbrook and the surrounding suburbs.
